PSYMULATION is now open and up and running. be sure to come through and experience it for yourself. thanks to everyone who came out to the opening, it was fun and maybe the most random mix of people ever, german collectors, gang bangers, grad students, artists, highschoolers.. someone called the cops on us partying too hard. just kidding. a couple days ago there was a "peace" rally around the corner. also, these red bull girls came thru. if your into that sort of thing, we got tons of it in our fridge for free. come get it. when your good and juiced would be an excellent way to experience the show.

sometimes our friends who work with kids or other teachers we meet bring their kids by and we get to talk to them about photo stuff. at first it always feels like a drag, but it never is and is always awesome. this time i was out of town so stefan showed these guys the darkroom and even went as far as making prints. sometimes i go out of town and when i get back i have to get shit straight at the lab, but this is the first time i had to literally clean up shit. yup, someone shit on us. i knew it wasnt a hate crime against hamburger eyes becuase there is always human dookie in the alley, but in the usual shit spot is now a couple of huge motion detection lights so this crackie had to make an executive decision. alex and oskie already tried to clean it up by the time i got there, but they quit because alex almost puked. sometimes weird stuff happens. we dont have a buzzer on our door yet so if youve been here you know that when you leave you have to take the key with you, lock the door and either just put it in the mail slot, or throw it up through the window. this time time someone tossed it up and it wrapped itself around the electric cable. when i went to grab it i got shocked and fell out the window face first into the dookie pile before it was cleaned up entirely. just kidding, but the the key getting stuck is true. so now we are all in new york for phase 2 of global domo-ing and im giving the digi to someone different everyday, look for updates from the road.

1. we had probably over a year to layout the book, but we lagged crazy and did it last minute in a week! 2. although you might have seen some of the photos in other publications, we have never published any of the photos before except for the cover image which was ran super small in issue 001! 3. we originally asked if the book could be 500 pages! we're stupid! 4. they originally wanted to do a "greatest hits" but i thought it would be better to wait a few years and put out a book called "the first decade" ! yes a direct rip off of that one life magazine book! 5. there was gonna be like 50 photogs in it but people are super busy or super lazy! 6. our book release date of feb 14 is also hamburger eyes 7th bday and the photo epicenter's 1st bday! 7. theres a photo of mike stevens in the book and i didnt realize it till the other day that mike took my camera and took that photo of himself! but i got the photo credit! it was the morning after we had a giant party at monkey's house in sd! it was the after party of a big show we did! i passed out in the living room and woke up to people having sex near me! the other day me and mike smoked pot after tims bday! i hadnt smoked in years and now i get blunted everyday since then! just kidding! but it was fun! 8. theres a photo in there of stefan's that may look like his uncle, but really its his aunt! 9. they asked me to write a "forewards" for the book, but i wanted it at the end so its called an "afterwards" ! and i basically ripped the whole thing off from a bbc documentary called "humans 2.0" which is about how computers are becoming as smart as us! 10. my new favorite font is called "hobo" and its on the spine and everywhere and anywhere i can put it! thats just fyi, go ahead use it if you want! 11. theres a photo in there that boogie shot somewhere in south america. it says "tupamaro somos todos" which means "we are all tupamaro" who happen to be a rebel guerilla movement named after a revolutionary named "tupac amaru II", who im sure tupac shakur was named after too. so yes "we are all tupacs" ! 12. the last spread in the book, the zorro photo by teddy p is not only showcasing 24th st but my block even! ungh! 13. theres a dogg count of 24 doggs in the book! it was a coincidence!

okay, the dustward show is super nectar. the opening was fun and propers to all those who came out and delivered good vibes. this one had the most stuff to look at, the biggest crowd, no pigs. its up for a month so come see it. theres an expresso machine setup, so you can get all juiced up while looking at all the millions of things to look at. easily the best show we've had so far. thanks to the dustward, thanks to the fans, thanks for the good times. heres are some photo from the opening. awesome after party at the attic. thanks yos. check out the video dan made while he was here in sf on the megawords site: megawords magazine and here's a crew up collage by stefan..

our b/w setup was pretty good but it was limited to 16x20 and 20x24 size prints. time to rip out that whole shit and make room for something beefier.. new setup will accomodate 30x40 size prints.. check to make sure that table height is comfy while i take photos.. i guess i can help paint it.. see those levels can drop down and your printing almost to the ground for majorly huge size prints by your own hands. obviously our rc processor wont cover it so we will process these in trough style tray setups. we'll get it going this week, youll see, stay tuned..
